Victor Viktorovich Bregeda /Виктор Викторович Брегеда is an Russian painter* working in the surrealism* and metarealism styles. He was born in the Russian city of Taganrog into a family of painters. He was attracted by the Dutch school of painting*.
The artists who most inspired him were Leonardo da Vinci, Hieronymus Bosch, Pieter Brueghel the Elder, Max Ernst, Nicholas Roerich, and he states,

"I also like the French school of the 18th and 19th centuries... and in addition, the works of Andrew Wyeth. My artistic abilities are in my blood, thanks to my forefathers, and I grew up in a strong creative environment". 

Bregeda's key directions are working with en plein air landscapes*, still lifes and portraits, done in a metarealistic style with a strong influence of subconscious philosophy. The artist uses a mélange of techniques, materials and styles and tries to invent new ones.

Victor Viktorovich Bregeda /Виктор Викторович Брегеда è un pittore Russo* che lavora in stile surrealista* e meta-realistico.

Victor Bregeda è nato nella città di Taganrog in una famiglia di pittori.

Fu attratto dalla scuola olandese della pittura. Gli artisti che più lo hanno ispirato sono stati Leonardo da Vinci, Hieronymus Bosch, Pieter Bruegel il Vecchio, Max Ernst, Nicholas Roerich, e lui afferma:

"Mi piace anche la scuola francese dei secoli 18 e 19 ... e in aggiunta, la opere di Andrew Wyeth. Le mie capacità artistiche sono nel mio sangue, grazie ai miei antenati, e sono cresciuto in un ambiente fortemente creativo".

Bregeda lavora principalmente con i paesaggi en plein, nature morte e ritratti, eseguiti in uno stile meta-realistico con una forte influenza della filosofia del subconscio.

L'artista utilizza un mix di tecniche, materiali e stili e cerca di inventarne di nuovi. Il cristianesimo è un soggetto con un posto speciale nell'arte del Bregeda.

L'opera più venduta, l'Eucaristia fu il primo di una serie di dipinti con simbologia cristiana.

Ha usato la sua arte surreale di ritrarre l'immagine dell'Ultima Cena, Gesù e l'idea dell'amore divino.

I dipinti sono collegati tra loro da soggetti, la composizione ed il metodo artistico di trasformazione delle immagini.
