Maria Zeldis (1955-2018) | Figurative painter

Born in Ukraine, Maria Fedotova-Zeldis was trained as a professional pianist, and sharing the love for the plastic arts with her twin sister.
She spent her whole childhood in Kyiv, and in the early 1990s, she and her husband moved to Mexico, where she lived and worked in a symphony orchestra.
A self-taught painter, Maria Zeldis is very talented.



Her work is beautiful and so detailed. She truly captures the moment and the emotions in her drawings especially her drawings of children.
It is almost as if she can tell what they are thinking and what their innocence shows.
Her artwork is amazingly noted when she draws such beautiful images that captures the feeling of the moment and place.

In the last 15 years Maria has dedicated her creativity to exploring painting, drawing and design.
After her work gained worldwide attention, Maria has hosted numerous expositions in museums across Europe and Latin America, her art is featured in museums, consulates and several private collections.


Maria Fedotova-Zeldis suddenly died in a car accident in 2018.



















Maria Fedotova-Zeldis è nata in Ucraina. Trascorse l'infanzia a Kiev ed all'inizio degli anni '90, lei e suo marito si sono trasferiti in Messico, dove ha vissuto e lavorato in un'orchestra sinfonica.
Artista autodidatta, la Zeldis aveva molto talento, è stata pianista e docente presso l'orchestra Sinfonica di Stato in Messico.
Il suo lavoro è bellissimo e così dettagliato.


Cattura davvero il momento e le emozioni nei suoi disegni, in particolare i suoi disegni di bambini.
È quasi come se potesse dire cosa stanno pensando e cosa mostra la loro innocenza.

La sua opera d'arte è sorprendentemente nota quando disegna immagini così belle che catturano la sensazione del momento e del luogo.
La sua prima mostra e stata presentata nel museo Santiago Felipe Gutiérrez a Toluca, Messico.

Maria Fedotova-Zeldis è morta improvvisamente in un incidente stradale l'11 maggio del 2018
