Diego Rivera (1886-1957) | Social Realist painter / muralist

Considered the greatest Mexican painter of the twentieth century, Diego Rivera had a profound effect on the international art world. Among his many contributions, Rivera is credited with the reintroduction of fresco painting into modern art and architecture.

Frida Kahlo | Surrealist painter

Frida Kahlo (1907-1954)🎨 was an Mexican painter who produced mostly small, highly personal self-portraits using elements of fantasy and a style inspired by native popular art.
Kahlo was born in Coyoacán, Mexico, near Mexico City.
While a student at Mexico City's National Preparatory School in 1925, she sustained severe injuries in a bus accident. During her recuperation, Kahlo taught herself to paint.
After three years she took some of her first paintings to the famous Mexican muralist Diego Rivera🎨, who encouraged her to continue her work.

Omar Ortiz, 1977 | Hyperrealist painter

Omar Ortiz🎨 was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, where he still resides. Attracting much interest for drawing and illustration from early age. He earned his BA in Design for Graphic Communication, where he learned to work with different techniques such as drawing, pastel, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic, and airbrush.
After completing his studies in Graphic Design decided to devote himself to the world of painting. In 2002 he did his first lessons in oil painting with the painter Carmen Alarcon which he considers his principal teacher of Art. Currently, oil paints considering the art more noble.

Lisete Alcalde, Mexican painter, was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, second child of four children, daughter of Sergio Alcalde Justiniani and Patricia Salas.
Having very unique parenting from her father's profession in iridology and her mother's in emotional therapy, Lisete received both health and spiritual guidance.
At the age of 15 Lisete’s artistic talents started to blossom, once she realized her pastime went beyond painting.
