Anatoly Metlan, 1964 | Mediterranean paysages

Anatoly Metlan was born in Yalta, a southern Ukranian city.

He developed an interest in art at a young age, and was encouraged by his parents who also had a love of art.

His talents were recognized and he attended a high school specializing in the arts.

He graduated high school in 1985 and went to Krivoi Rog University to continue his art studies.

He began exhibiting while attending the university and was accepted to the Artists Guild of the Ukraine in 1989.

When the Soviet Union fell in 1991, the Metlan family took advantage of the opportunity to emigrate to Israel, where they live now.

Metlan's works include painting of scenic views of the countryside, urban landscape, the sea and interiors and exteriors. He regularly travels to get inspiration from the landscape painted by the Impressionist painters he admires.

Metlan's paintings of harbors and sea views bring back the image of the Mediterranean coast that has inspired so many other painters.

Metlan has exhibited throughout the world- Europe, Israel, the United States and his works can be found in galleries and private collections.

Anatoly Metlan è nato a Yalta, una città della Ucraina meridionale. Ha sviluppato l'interesse per l'arte in giovane età ed è stato incoraggiato dai suoi genitori che amavano l'arte.

I suo talento lo ha portato a frequentare una scuola superiore specializzata in arti. Si è laureato nel 1985 e ha frequentato la Krivoi Rog University per proseguire gli studi artistici.

Ha iniziato ad esibirsi mentre frequentava l'università ed è stato accettato dalla Guild degli artisti dell'Ucraina nel 1989.

Quando l'Unione Sovietica cadde nel 1991, la famiglia Metlan approfittò dell'opportunità per emigrare in Israele, dove vivono ora.

Le opere di Metlan comprendono la pittura di vedute panoramiche della campagna, del paesaggio urbano, del mare, degli interni e degli esterni.

Viaggia regolarmente per trarre ispirazione dal paesaggio dipinto dai pittori impressionisti che ammira. I dipinti di Metlan di porti e vista sul mare riportano l'immagine della costa mediterranea che ha ispirato tanti altri pittori.

Metlan ha esposto in tutto il mondo: Europa, Israele, Stati Uniti e le sue opere sono presenti in gallerie e collezioni private.
