Jordi Feliu, 1952 | Abstract painter


Jordi Ezquerra Feliu was born in Barcelona, Spain and currently lives in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil.
Architect graduated from Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya Jordi Feliu received bachelor's and master's degree in Fine Art in The Savannah College of Art and Design.
His works participated in 98 group exhibitions and 11 personal exhibitions in Europe and the United States.
In 2003 he established the "Art and Art Gallery", where he works with paintings in galleries, companies and private collectors.
Feliu is considered an experimental artist and creates his works with great versatility from the use of various techniques and styles.


He taught at various schools of art, sharing their knowledge with other aspiring artists.
The current Working Feliu is a mixture of oil paint, acrylic paint and encaustic painting techniques.
These techniques have given him the opportunity to experiment within the realm of mixed media.

His paintings are often layered with multiple combinations of colors that enhance the surface, creating a tactile effect.
His paintings seem to come together with your imagination, and yet in a purely abstract level if you approach them.
Most of their work is expressionist and is not rooted in a particular place, but instead speaks of a mood or general feeling of being surrounded by nature.
His style is current with contemporary thoughts on the abstract nature and the image plane.
