Robert Zeller | Surrealist painter

Robert Zeller is a visual artist, writer and curator who received a BFA from a joint program of the Boston Museum School and Tufts University and an MFA from the New York Academy of Art.
He maintains studio practices in both Brooklyn and Long Island, where he creates Surrealist-inspired work.
His writing and curatorial projects feed of of his creative studio practice and vice-versa.
His art has been exhibited in New York City at 511, Booth, Forbes, Palo and Robilant+Voena galleries.


In January 2009, he founded the Teaching Studios of Art, with locations in Brooklyn and Oyster Bay, Long Island.
It is an art school that follows the same philosophy he has in in own work: traditional techniques with flexibility to be creative and engage contemporary culture.






Robert Zeller è un artista visivo, scrittore e curatore che ha conseguito un BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) presso un programma congiunto della Boston Museum School e della Tufts University ed un MFA (Master of Fine Arts) presso la New York Academy of Art.
Ha uno studio a Brooklyn e Long Island, dove crea opere di ispirazione surrealista.


I suoi progetti di scrittura e curatela si alimentano della sua attività creativa in studio e viceversa.

Le sue opere sono presenti in diverse collezioni private e aziendali negli Stati Uniti, in Europa e in Messico.
Zeller ha inoltre ricevuto due borse di studio Posey ed una borsa di studio della Pollock-Krasner Foundation.
