Alexander Saidov / Александр Саидов was born in the village of Pavlovskaya, Krasnodar region, Russia.

In 1989 he has finished the Krasnodar Art Institute.

Since 1995 is a member of The Artist’s Union of Russia.

From 1991 is participant of city, regional, zone exhibitions.

Saidov graduated with honors from the Krasnodar Art College in 1989.

In 1995 he was accepted into a prestigious Union of Artists of Russia, and since 1991 has been a permanent participant of the city, regional and country-wide exhibitions of the Union.

In 1998, Saidov won First Place at the regional exhibition of the "young talent".

In 2000, he was a finalist of the all-Russia exhibition of young artists, and received the "Best Merit" award for his painting "Feast on the Rug".

In 2003 two of Saidov’s paintings were purchased by the Museum of Modern Art of Omsk, Russia and another was purchased by Museum of Ethnography of the Don region.

In 2004 Saidov received a Silver Medal at the juried show "St. Petersburg, Spring", and the Gold Medal on the "St. Petersburg, Fall".

In March 2005, the president of the Academy of Fine Art of Russia called Alexander "one of the most promising young artists of contemporary Russia".

Also that year, one painting by Saidov was purchased by the Russian Academy of Fine Art, Moscow.

In 2006, The City Art Gallery and Museum of Krasnodar purchased four still-life paintings by Saidov and included them in their permanent collection.

In 2007, two of Saidov’s paintings were purchased by the Administration of the President of Russia to be part of the permanent art collection at the Presidential Palace in Gatchina, St. Petersburg.

In 2009, Saidov was included in the catalog “100 Best” by Art Renewal Center’s International ARC Salon, USA.

The works are in private collections in Russia, Germany, Turkey, the USA, Australia, Thailand and other countries.

Nato a Pavlovsk, in Russia, Alexander Saidov si è laureato con lode presso l'Accademia d'Arte di Krasnodar nel 1989.

Nel 1995 è stato ammesso alla prestigiosa Unione degli Artisti Russi e dal 1991 è un partecipante permanente alle mostre cittadine, regionali e nazionali dell'Unione.

Nel 1998, Saidov ha vinto il primo premio alla mostra regionale dei "giovani talenti".

Nel 2000, è stato finalista della mostra panrussa dei giovani artisti e ha ricevuto il premio "Miglior Merito" per il suo dipinto "Festa sul tappeto".

Nel 2003 due dipinti di Saidov sono stati acquistati dal Museo d'Arte Moderna di Omsk, in Russia, ed un altro dal Museo Etnografico della regione del Don.

Nel 2004, Saidov ha ricevuto la medaglia d'argento alla mostra con giuria "San Pietroburgo, Primavera" e la medaglia d'oro alla mostra "San Pietroburgo, Autunno".

Nel marzo 2005, il presidente dell'Accademia di Belle Arti di Russia definì Saidov "uno dei giovani artisti più promettenti della Russia contemporanea".

Nello stesso anno, un dipinto di Saidov fu acquistato dall'Accademia Russa di Belle Arti di Mosca.

Nel 2006, la Galleria d'Arte e Museo della Città di Krasnodar acquistò quattro nature morte di Aleksandr e le incluse nella sua collezione permanente.

Nel 2007, due dipinti di Saidov furono acquistati dall'Amministrazione del Presidente della Russia per far parte della collezione d'arte permanente del Palazzo Presidenziale di Gatchina, San Pietroburgo.

Nel 2009, Saidov è stato incluso nel catalogo "100 Best" dell'International ARC Salon dell'Art Renewal Center, negli Stati Uniti.
