Bulgarian painter Stefan Georgiev / Стефан Георгиев born on June 24-th in the Town of Veliko Tarnovo. In 1974 he graduates from Arts school in the Town of Kazanlak, Bulgaria.
He then continues his education in "St Cyril and St Methodius" University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria in the Faculty of fine arts.
He is a member of the Greek Artists Union, He lived in Athens from 2000 to 2014.
He works mainly on canvas with oil paint, mixed techniques or pencils. However he also uses watercolor, pastels and acrylics. With the help of a spatula, he mixes the materials in order to get the wished deepness, thickness and effect. His paintings are figurative with a stylized and decorative style.


They are characterized by a great richness of color and his particular subjects, which makes his work particularly interesting.
In parallel to the creation of his paintings, he works as an illustrator of children's books.
His pieces are exhibited in several art galleries and private collections in the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, England, Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey, Russia, United States, Canada and Hong Kong.

Il pittore bulgaro Stefan Georgiev / Стефан Георгиев è nato il 24 giugno nella città di Veliko Tarnovo.
Nel 1974 si diploma alla scuola d'arte della città di Kazanlak, in Bulgaria. Continua poi la sua formazione presso l'Università "San Cirillo e Metodio" di Veliko Tarnovo, in Bulgaria, presso la Facoltà di Belle Arti.
È membro dell'Unione degli Artisti Greci ed ha vissuto ad Atene dal 2000-2014.
Lavora principalmente su tela con colori ad olio, tecniche miste o matite.
Tuttavia usa anche acquerelli, pastelli e acrilici. Con l'aiuto di una spatola mescola i materiali in modo da ottenere la profondità, lo spessore e l'effetto desiderato.


I suoi dipinti sono figurativi con uno stile stilizzato e decorativo.
Sono caratterizzati da una grande ricchezza di colori e dai soggetti particolari, che rendono il suo lavoro particolarmente interessante.
Parallelamente alla creazione dei dipinti, Georgiev lavora come illustratore di libri per bambini. I suoi pezzi sono esposti in diverse gallerie d'arte e collezioni private nei Paesi Bassi, Germania, Italia, Spagna, Inghilterra, Grecia, Bulgaria, Turchia, Russia, Stati Uniti, Canada e Hong Kong.
