Daniel Del Orfano is an American painter, known for working in the Romantic Figurative style.

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Daniel Del Orfano decided to stay close to his roots and attend Dowling College in Oakdale, NY, where he received his BFA in Art Education.

After teaching at the prestigious Knox Boarding School, Daniel took a position in the public school system where he taught art to children of all ages.

Though extremely rewarding, this was not his true calling, and Daniel decided to divert his energy from teaching to art to creating art.

In the summer of 2005, Daniel formed the Renaissance Workshop, which specialized in all things art, provided him with the opportunity to expand his horizons creatively.

As demand for his commissioned work increased, he began refining his expressive style, implementing techniques that emphasized texture and realism.

Though his work depicts realistic scenes, the effects produce an almost ethereal feeling, and his use of imagery began to take a back seat to the memory of which the image represented.

Nato e cresciuto a Long Island, New York e dopo aver insegnato presso la prestigiosa Scuola Knox Boarding, Daniel Del Orfano è stato integrato nel sistema scolastico pubblico, dove ha insegnato arte a bambini di tutte le età.

Ma, anche se estremamente gratificante, questa non era la sua vera vocazione.

Nell'estate del 2005, fonda il "Renaissance Workshop", con l'obbiettivo di espandere creativamente i suoi orizzonti.

Poiché la domanda di lavoro commissionato diventava sempre maggiore, Daniel inizia a guardare il suo stile espressivo, attuando le tecniche che enfatizzano il realismo.

Orfano inizia a creare gli elementi simbolici per le sue tele.

Un dettaglio simbolico, progettato dei lavori Del Orfano, diventa l'ombrello rosso.

Grazie alla combinazione della sua semplice tavolozza di rossi accesi ed emotivi ed al suo uso creativo delle ombre, Del Orfano riesce a rendere il tutto ancora più intenso e seducente.

Persino il caratteristico "ombrello rosso" di Daniel è ritratto in modo giocoso e creativo.

Del Orfano è stato a lungo affascinato del fatto che, mentre si cammina a New York, se improvvisamente inizia a piovere, la salvezza si trovava solo in un isolato di distanza: un venditore di ombrelli.
