Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Ilian Rachov starts his artistic career like self-taught man in 1988 realizing copies of medieval orthodox icons and frescoes, re-discovering ancient techniques of gilding methods and how to engrave after the golden backgrounds of the icons.
His personal elaboration of that kind of old techniques and his modern view of this very antique art helps him to develop an own personal and unmistakable style in the iconography field.

She was born in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1956, and in 1993 moved to Adelaide, South Australia.

Georgi Kolarov was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
At a very young age, he discovered that he was drawn to painting and knew he wanted to become an artist.
The idea of doing anything else seemed unappealing to him.
He saw painting as an intuitive and sensorial process, balancing pictorial elements to reveal the poetry of color and form in the everyday objects around him.
Recognizing Georgi’s talent, his parents sent him to the Professional School of Stage Arts in Plovdia when he was still very young.

Nikolo Balkanski began painting at very early age and graduated from the Medium Special Arts School in Sofia, Bulgaria, when he was 18.
At just 21, he held his first solo exhibition, “Time and People“, featuring portraits of some of the country's leading actors, poets and politicians, organized by his father, who is attorney, writer and poet.
This unique show garnered a lot of attention for the young artist, and he soon continued his studies at the art academy in Sofia, specializing in paintings.
After moving to Finland with his parents, he studied at the University of Helsinki.
