Nikolay Ninov, 1973

Nikolay Ninov is a Bulgarian artist, born in 1973. He graduated from SSHU for PI. Tryavna, and later VTU "St. st. Cyril and Methodius", specialty Sculpture by prof. Konstantin Denev and prof. Velichko Minekov.

Since 2009 he is the Associate professor at Varna Free University in Sculpture. Winner of prizes for contemporary arts, including the award for Young Artist from the National Biennial of Small Forms, Pleven (2004).

He has participated in numerous national and international festivals and symposiums for contemporary arts and sculpture.

He was the Artistic director of international sculpture forums in Bulgaria. He has over 10 solo exhibitions in Varna, Burgas, Sofia etc.

His works are in possession of Bulgarian National Art Gallery, the Union of Bulgarian Artists, the City Galleries in Sofia, Varna, Burgas, Pleven; in private collections in Bulgaria and in Romania. He lives and works in Varna.

Nikolay Ninov è un artista Bulgaro. Si è laureato alla SSHU per PI. Tryavna, e successivamente VTU "S. Cirillo e Metodio", specialità Scultura del prof. Konstantin Denev e il prof. Velichko Minekov.

Dal 2009 è professore associato presso la Varna Free University in Sculpture.

Vincitore di premi per le arti contemporanee, tra cui il premio Young Artist della Biennale Nazionale delle Piccole Forme, Pleven (2004).

Ha partecipato a numerosi festival e simposi nazionali ed internazionali per le arti contemporanee e la scultura.

È stato direttore artistico di forum internazionali di scultura in Bulgaria.

Ha oltre 10 mostre personali a Varna, Burgas, Sofia ecc.

Le sue opere sono in possesso della Galleria d'arte nazionale bulgara, dell'Unione degli artisti Bulgari, delle Gallerie cittadine di Sofia, Varna, Burgas, Pleven; in collezioni private in Bulgaria ed in Romania.

Vive e lavora a Varna.
