Dmitry Kustanovich /Дмитрий Кустанович, born in Minsk, nickname Kust/Куст, is a Belarusian-born artist that currently resides in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
Kustanovich graduated from the Belarusian State Pedagogical University in 1996, served in the Soviet Army and worked as a construction worker.
Kustanovich has developed an original technique based on the wider use of palette knifes rather than brushes.



Since 1996 Kustanovich has participated in a number of personal exhibitions in Minsk, Moscow, Germany, France, Lithuania, Netherlands, Portugal. The technique has elements of the impressionism, expressionism, primitive art, conceptual art.

Kustanovich says:
"I model the space with the palette knife expressing its to-day state, its momentousnesses, its current minute. This is my technique. It is emotional. It has its own philosophy. The world expressed through it is manifolded. It is different".



























Dmitry Alexandrovich Kustanovich /Дмитрий Кустанович è un artista Bielorusso nato a Minsk, meglio conosciuto con il soprannome di Kust che attualmente risiede a San Pietroburgo, Russia. Kustanovich è laureato presso l'Università Pedagogica di Stato della Bielorussia nel 1996, ha servito nell'esercito sovietico e ha lavorato come operaio edile.
Kustanovich sviluppato una tecnica originale basata su un ampio uso di spatole, invece di spazzole. La sua tecnica ha elementi dell'impressionismo, l'espressionismo, l'arte primitiva e l'arte concettuale.
Dal 1996 Kustanovich ha partecipato a numerose mostre personali a Minsk, Mosca, Germania, Francia, Lituania, Paesi Bassi, Portogallo.
