Alejandro Decinti, 1973


Chilean-Italian painter Alejandro DeCinti is a painter born in Santiago de Chile.
He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Chile. Since 2001 he is based in Spain.
He was awarded with the Scholarship for Academic Excellence in the 1991 admission process to Chilean universities.
First prize in the Arte en Vivo competition in 1994 and the Fundación Arte y Autores Contemporáneos postgraduate scholarship in 2001.


Founder in Madrid of the artistic project "Decinti Villalón" in 2003, together with the Chilean-Spanish artist Oscar Villalón.
Since 2009 he has been collaborating and promoting the Ramírez Máro Institute project together with the German artist Rafael Ramírez Máro.
In 2011 he founds DeArtibus, an artistic project based in Barcelona until 2013.
In 2019 he founds DeCinti Villalón México in the city of San Miguel de Allende together with the Mexican artists Heder Contreras and Emmanuel Sierra.
His work focuses exclusively on the creation, teaching and promotion of artistic works painted with traditional media, which contain reflections on universal culture and spirituality, the American being and the Chilean identity.














Il pittore Cileno-Italiano Alejandro DeCinti è un pittore nato a Santiago del Cile. Ha conseguito la laurea in Belle Arti presso l'Università del Cile.
Dal 2001 risiede in Spagna.
È stato insignito della borsa di studio per l'eccellenza accademica nel processo di ammissione del 1991 alle università cilene.
Primo premio al concorso Arte en Vivo nel 1994 e borsa di studio post-laurea "Fundación Arte y Autores Contemporáneos" nel 2001.
Fondatore a Madrid del progetto artistico "Decinti Villalón" nel 2003, insieme all'artista cileno-spagnolo Oscar Villalón.
Dal 2009 collabora e promuove il progetto dell'Istituto Ramírez Máro insieme all'artista tedesco Rafael Ramírez Máro.
Nel 2011 fonda "DeArtibus", progetto artistico con sede a Barcellona fino al 2013.
Nel 2019 fonda "DeCinti Villalón México" nella città di San Miguel de Allende insieme agli artisti messicani Heder Contreras ed Emmanuel Sierra.
