Ivan Fedorovich Choultse | The master of light and snow

Иван Федорович Шультце (1877-1932) was born in St. Petersburg in 1877 to a family of German origin named Schultze.
He was first trained by Constantin Krigitsky, a court painter to Tsar Nicholas II who painted miniatures and he made his debut at the Fine Art Academy in St. Petersburg in 1903.
Choultsé’s work was well received and he continued to exhibit his work at other major galleries in St. Petersburg and Moscow and was eventually elected court painter himself. However, these were troubled times in Russia and after the Revolution of 1917 and the Tsar’s abdication, Choultsé left Russia and travelled to Europe.

Since 2002 - a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Lives and works in Yaroslavl.

Zhao Kailin, 1961 | Figurative painter

Award wnning🎨 Artist Zhao Kailin 赵开霖🎨 was born in Bengbu, China. He graduated from Central Art Academy in Beijing in 1991 and is one of the most important and critically acclaimed Chinese masters of contemporary realism.

During his intensive training, Zhao🎨 was exposed to the galvanizing portraits of Dutch Renaissance🎨 master Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn (1606-1669)🎨.

He was also inspired by the luxuriant brushwork, jewel-like color and commanding manipulation of light and shadow of Italian Renaissance🎨 painter Carravagio (1573-1610)🎨.

Dorian Florez, 1960 | Figurative painter

Dorian Florez is an artist from Colombia. He was born in Caldas Antioquia. He studied clinical psychology in University of Paris in the period 1982-1988.

At the same time, he was attending School of Fine Arts in Nantes (France) from 1983-1985.

He had many other studies attended many workshops to strengthen his skills. Actually, his talents skills are shining since his birth.

Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema | Victorian painter

Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema (1836-1912-), Dutch-born Victorian painter renowned for his exquisitely detailed depictions of everyday life in the ancient Greco-Roman world.

His work was immensely popular during his lifetime for its lavish, romantic vision of antiquity, influencing later art and even early Hollywood epics

Alma-Tadema, the son of a Dutch notary, studied art at the Antwerp Academy (1852-58) under the Belgian historical painter Hendrik Leys, assisting the painter in 1859 with frescoes for the Stadhuis (town hall) in Antwerp.
