Chadwick has exhibited his artworks in galleries and museums both nationally and internationally. He earned a Bachelor's Degree at UCLA and a Master’s Degree at NYU, both in Fine Art. Currently I paint in an old airplane hangar in Santa Monica, California.
The recurring sound of airplane take-offs and landings from the active airport runaway outside my studio reminds me of my own history of travel. After I finished my Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art at UCLA and my Master’s Degree in Fine Art at NYU, my wanderings took me from the U.S. to Asia to Australia to Europe and back, again and again. These
wanderings have helped provide a series of spaces that appear within my
paintings.
One could say we all create paintings as we distill meaning from the rush of life. Experiences, thoughts, moments, memories, and dreams mix together and overlap to bring understanding to our everyday life. My paintings echo this cognitive-emotional process. My artworks evolve through a series of painting sessions in which colors and images overlap, merge, and flow.
