Zhao Chun / 赵春 was born in Shenyang City, Liaoning province, China.
He graduated from the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts.
He participated in the Hong Kong Return to Art exhibition and won the Silver Medal.
For the 30th anniversary of the China-Japan Peace Treaty, the Seibu Art Museum in Tokyo organized an exhibition of oil paintings by Zhao Chun.
He participated in All-Japan Art and won the Prime Minster award.
Zhao Chun lives and works in Shanghai.
His search for the mythic reality of the Miao women let Zhao Chun to explore one of the most recurrent themes of Chinese arts that of the ultra sophisticated Miao women, in a completely new perspective.
