Xing Jianjian, 1959 | Figurative painter

Xing Jianjian's creations incorporate elements of expressionism and symbolism in the delicate and subtle classical realism, so the presentation of his works is not only beautiful and delicate, but also lyrical and allegorical.

In 1986, Chinese painter Xing Jianjian / 邢健健 graduated from Nanjing University of the Arts majoring in oil painting with a bachelor's degree and stayed on as a teacher there.



Jianjian is currently a professor and master tutor at the School of Fine Arts of Nanjing University of the Arts.
He is member of China Artists Association.
Jianjian is director of Jiangsu Oil Painting Society.

His works have participated in the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th National Art Exhibition, the 2nd and 3rd China Oil Painting Exhibition, and exhibitions and lectures in the United States, France, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and other countries and regions.

A book containing a selection of Xing Jianjian's works has been published. In 1991 he was awarded the silver medal at the Hangzhou Art Festival.

His works participated in Hong Kong Sotheby's, China Poly, Guardian, Hanhai, Rongbao and other auctions.
Some works are in domestic and foreign art museums, galleries, clubs and private collections.
