Matt Abraxas, 1974 | Figurative painter

- "Being an artist of any medium usually goes hand-in-hand with being a frequent ponderer.
It’s this reverie of deep questions and contrarian considerations that often leads one to pursuing art.
Maybe it’s because art allows for nebulous thoughts to take satisfactory form rather than burn and rot the soul" - Matt Abraxas.

Matt Abraxas is an internationally recognized fine artist whose work is collected throughout the U.S., Europe and the Middle East.
Studied "Restructured Realism" under Ted Seth Jacobs in France and the Abstraction Method under Jeffrey Watts in California.
These two approaches of education continue to influence Matt’s painting and his appreciation for an academic study of art.

Matt Abraxas has work in private collections in the U.S., Europe and the middle East.
He has illustrated four children’s books for Simonetta Carr‘s series and is currently working on more.
