Born in Milan, Leonardo Bazzaro (1853-1937) was an Milanese painter🎨 who exhibited regularly at the Biennale in Venice from 1897-1932.
Bazzaro trained with Gaetano Fasanotti and studied at the Accademia di Brera in Milan. Giuseppe Bertini was one of his teachers.
His works can be found in the collections of the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna in Rome, the Galleria Civica d'Arte Contemporanea di Torino and the Museo Internazionale d'Arte Moderna CÃ Pesaro in Venice.
