Not only is Bob Dylan one of the most iconic musicians of the modern era, a filmmaker and a best-selling author, he is also a painter, a sculptor since the 1960s.
Dylan has been awarded America’s Presidential Medal of Freedom, the National Medal of Arts, the Pulitzer Prize, Sweden’s Polar Music Prize and France’s Officer de la Legion d’honneur.
He has won an Oscar and eleven Grammy Awards.



In 2016 Dylan became the first singer-songwriter to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature and in 2019, Dylan’s first comprehensive solo museum exhibition opened in the Modern Art Museum Shanghai, Retrospectrum.
The artist has created landscapes, nostalgic scenes of Americana along Route 66, illustrations based on his own lyrics and colorful depictions of cities around the world.

He adopts a storyteller's approach, his works often steeped in the same Americana that permeates his songs, with a technique reminiscent of Expressionism, unafraid to blend the abstract with the familiar.
His art elicits a sense of nostalgia and reflection, an echo of the profound emotional resonance felt in his music.

Dylan è stato insignito della Medaglia Presidenziale della Libertà americana, della Medaglia Nazionale delle Arti, del Premio Pulitzer, del Polar Music Prize svedese e dell'Officer de la Legion d'honneur francese.
