Yary Dluhos, 1944 | Impressionist painter

Yary Dluhos was born in an area of the Czech Republic considered by many to be a center of culture, the city of Olomouc.

Strongly influenced by the historical and picturesque ambiance of her native Olomouc, she soon began to paint and draw early in her childhood.

All her formative years spent drawing and painting finally culminated with her acceptance to the renowned art school in Uherski Hradiste, in the Czech Republic.

This was to be the beginning of many successes.

All techniques in various mediums became a love, and in those joyful years of school, her passion drove her to enter various contests and competitive exhibitions where she won numerous awards, being recognized as one of the finest emerging young painters in her specialized medium technique.

It was the pure aquarelle watercolor technique that became a favorite of hers.

Impressionist transparency with soft hints of opaque coverage characterizes this style that few master well.

Her creativity and softness of brush, however, lends itself well to oil paints also, evidenced throughout the wide range of subject matter she paints.

Portraiture, still life, landscape, and figures all contributed to her prominence in Uherski Hradiste.

Immediately upon graduating, she was hired as a commercial artist.

However, her love and interest remained with her paintings and drawings, and three years later she went back to freelance art to pursue her career as a fine art painter.

She now makes California her home where the abundance of natural beauty from the desert to the seaside pervades her paintings and provides her with inspiration for all her work.

Yary Dluhos nacque in una zona della Repubblica Ceca considerata da molti un centro culturale, la città di Olomouc.

Fortemente influenzata dall'atmosfera storica e pittoresca della sua città natale, Olomouc, iniziò presto a dipingere e disegnare.

Tutti gli anni della sua formazione, trascorsi a disegnare e dipingere, culminarono con la sua ammissione alla rinomata scuola d'arte di Uherski Hradiste, nella Repubblica Ceca.

Questo fu l'inizio di molti successi.

Tutte le tecniche, in vari medium, divennero una sua passione ed, in quegli anni di scuola, la sua passione la spinse a partecipare a vari concorsi e mostre competitive, dove vinse numerosi premi, venendo riconosciuta come una delle migliori giovani pittrici emergenti nella sua tecnica specifica.

Fu la tecnica dell'acquarello puro a diventare la sua preferita.

La trasparenza impressionista con tenui pennellate di coprenza opaca caratterizza questo stile che pochi padroneggiano bene.

La sua creatività e la morbidezza del pennello, tuttavia, si prestano bene anche alla pittura ad olio, come si evince dall'ampia gamma di soggetti che dipinge.
