Robert Zeller | Surrealist painter

Robert Zeller is a visual artist, writer and curator who received a BFA from a joint program of the Boston Museum School and Tufts University and an MFA from the New York Academy of Art.

He maintains studio practices in both Brooklyn and Long Island, where he creates Surrealist-inspired work.

His writing and curatorial projects feed of of his creative studio practice and vice-versa.

His art has been exhibited in New York City at 511, Booth, Forbes, Palo and Robilant+Voena galleries.

Oleg Oprisco, 1987 | Surrealist / Conceptual photographer

Ukrainian Fine Art photographer Oleg Oprisco is born in the small town of Lviv, in western Ukraine.

Oprisco is known for his conceptual shots that involve elaborately constructed props and scenes that capture his distinct sense of surreality.

Relying on neutrals and subdued tones rather than a bold color palette, the mysterious, dreamlike images tend to center on a single figure within a quiet and unoccupied landscape.

Theodoros Pantaleon (1945-2025) | Surrealist painter

Theodoros Pantaleon / Θεόδωρος Πανταλέων (1945-2025) was a Greek surrealist painter and engraver.

He studied graphic arts at the Athens Technological Institute Doxiadis School taught by A. Tassos, A. Asteriadis, I. Dekoulakos, G. Georgiadis and S. Lydakis.

In his works, he uses typical elements of surrealism, while he adds elements of mannerism with portraits where he uses dreamy and imaginary sets.

Haystacks (Claude Monet series)

Haystacks is a title of a series of impressionist paintings by Claude Monet.

The primary subjects of all of the paintings in the series are stacks of hay in the field after the harvest season.

The title refers primarily to a twenty-five canvas series (Wildenstein Index Number 1266-1290) begun in the end of summer of 1890 and continued through the following spring, using that year's harvest.

Georges Maroniez | Genre painter

Georges Philibert Charles Maroniez (1865, Douai - 1933, Paris) was a French painter, specializing in landscapes with figures.

Education and first works

Maroniez was the son of an industrialist who owned a sugar refinery in Montigny-en-Ostrevent.

He displayed artistic talent at an early age, but - although not discouraged - was expected to pursue a more professional career.

Accordingly, he studied law, and afterwards served as a magistrate in, successively, Boulogne-sur-Mer (1891), Avesnes-sur-Helpe (1894) and Cambrai (1897).
