DU Kun 杜昆, 1982 | Surrealist painter

DU Kun /杜昆 born in Sichuan, China.

Under the influence of his art teacher father DU began studying painting from the age of four, later graduating from Beijing’s Central Academy of Fine Arts’ Oil Painting program.

Today he works between Tianjin and Beijing as his base, and is particularly widely renowned as a young Chinese artist for his creativity and the brilliance of his techniques.

Further, since his student days, in addition to his work as a painter DU Kun has been applying his talents in the field of music.

Luo Li Rong / 罗丽蓉, 1980 | Figurative sculptor

Luo Li Rong is a Chinese artist and sculptor who creates realistic sculptures, primarily in bronze.

Luo was born in Hongqi, Hunan province, China.

In 1998, Luo entered the Changsha Academy of Arts in Changsha, Hunan and studied with Xiao Xiaoqiu.

From 2000 to 2005 she studied sculpture at the CAFA (Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, China) with Sun Jiabo.

Helice Wen

Helice Wen is a Chinese-American artist.

She was born and raised in Shen Zhen, China.

She moved to San Francisco at age 14 where she currently lives and works.

Helice received a BA Illustration degree from Academy of Art University, San Francisco.

Judy Nimtz, 1973 | Figurative painter

Judy Nimtz was born in Taiwan and raised on the island of O'ahu in Hawaii.

After completion of her MFA in 2008 from Laguna College of Art and Design, Judy made Southern California her home.

Nimtz has exhibited her work in several solo and group exhibitions in the Los Angeles area including a joint survey exhibition with Kenny Harris at The Santa Monica College Barrett Art Gallery, Santa Monica, CA (2012) and multiple Artist-In-Residencies in Siena and Tuscany, Italy (2011-2015).

Yuehua He, 1959 | Figurative painter

Yuehua was born in Beijing, China.

Yuehua’s mother was an art teacher and she taught him how to draw.

He participated in art activities in school.

His dream was to enter the Academy of Fine Arts.

However, at that time, students were not allowed to go to college unless they were chosen by someone in the government.

After high school Yuehua went to the army.

In the army, there were not many opportunities to draw, but when the chance arose he drew what he saw in his surroundings.

Four years later, Yuehua left the army and entered the cinema and drafted movie posters.

Each movie poster was 2 meters x 7 meters long, and it usually took one to two days to finish painting.

During this time Yuehua was admitted to the Central Academy of Arts and Design Night University (renamed the Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts).

The Secretary to the Minister of Electronics Industry invited Yuehua to work professionally.

He worked in the State Council and the NPC Standing Committee from 1982 until 1987, after which he worked as the curator of the Beijing Museum of Art and Design.

Yuehua worked there until 2000 when he immigrated to the United States to become a full-time painter.

Member of Portrait Society of America, Member of Allied Artists of America, Inc., 1997-2000 Curator of Beijing design Art Museum.

Portrait art work was selected for Art exhibition New York in 2009.

Art work "travel" won the award for the advancement of American Art from Allied Artists of America in 2010.

Yuehua è nato a Pechino, in Cina.

Lo Chan Peng 羅展鵬, 1983

Lo Chan Peng was born in Chiayi, Taiwan and graduated Fine Art Department of Chinese Culture University.

Lo Chan-Peng had won many domestic art contests, and became well-known with “Strawberry Journal” series, which honestly records the sub-culture of young generation.

Lo uses his paintings to express what he observed from the real world, which not only depicts the mindset of young generations nowadays, but can be seen as a kind of self-dissect.

Hua Chen, 1952 | Impressionist Figurative painter

Hua Chen was born in Shanghai, People's Republic of China. Between the years of 1973-1976, Chen earned a Bachelors Degree of Fine Art from the Anhui Teacher's University, Anhui, China.

He then went on to attain a Master of Fine Art Degree in sketching, watercolor and oil painting from the Central Institute of the Fine Arts in Beijing, China.

Chen has earned several titles and awards including Chairman of Anhui Oil Painting Research Association in China and is a member of the Artists Association of China.
