I was born in the majestic White Mountains of New Hampshire in 1958, where my love for nature began. I studied at Rhode Island School of Design and recently under the supervision/tutoring of Stas Borodin, renown Russian Impressionist. After college I made my home in Maine where I remain today. The beauty of my surroundings from inland lakes to the Atlantic coast has been a constant source of inspiration.

Sean Yoro | Seaside Murals painter
Sew York-based Hawaiian-born street artist Sean Yoro (a.k.a. Hula) has created a stunning series of street art murals depicting women emerging from the water along the concrete walls of ruined and abandoned structures. At home on the water, he paddles on a surfboard to reach the best locations for his art, even managing to balance his paint cans as well.
Before the NY-based artist unveiled these stunning street art murals on his Instagram, he had already made a name for himself with his beautiful portraits of women painted on canvas and even on old surfboards.

Debra Hurd | Palette Knife painter
Art and music are my passions but it's all art to me.
Internationally acclaimed artist Debra Hurd studied art at both Southern University in Chattanooga, Tennessee and the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. For 15 years she was a graphic designer in Florida and Austin, Texas.
She is also an accomplished pianist, having studied music since early childhood. Debra's wild boogie-woogie and honky-tonk style still finds her in the recording studios and at live performances in Austin. She loves jazz, classical, and salsa styles, too.

Charlie Chaplin | Smile, 1936 | Modern Times
"Smile" is a song based on an instrumental theme used in the soundtrack for the 1936 Charlie Chaplin (1889-1977) movie Modern Times.
Chaplin composed the music, while John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons added the lyrics and title in 1954.
In the lyrics, based on lines and themes from the film, the singer is telling the listener to cheer up and that there is always a bright tomorrow, just as long as they smile.
"Smile" has become a popular standard since its original use in Chaplin's film.
It was used as the theme song on NBC-TV'S The Jerry Lewis Show from 1967-69.

Tomasyn De Winter | Floral painter
Tomasyn De Winter was born in Belgium but during her childhood travelled extensively with her parents, which exposed her to many different cultural experiences.
At a young age she showed an interest in the decorative arts making simple sketches and collecting materials which would later be used in her art.
Today Tomasyn works as a freelance artist in Germany and creates mainly floral works which are full of vitality and texture.
Using collage style corrugated papers and metallic paints plus her signature square shaped decorative icons her work is bold, contemporary and full of expression.

Lodovico Tommasi | Post-macchiaioli painter
Ludovico Tommasi (Livorno, 1866 - Florence 1941) was an Italian painter.
Inspired by the example of his elder brother Angiolo and his cousin Adolfo, Ludovico Tommasi devoted himself to painting, developing his art in close contact with Silvestro Lega, a frequent visitor to the Tommasi family villa at Bellariva. He made his debut at the Florence Promotrice in 1884 with a life study.
After his military service in Milan between 1888-1891, Tommasi and his brother Angiolo frequented the cultural circle that gravitated around Giacomo Puccini at Torre del Lago, and it was here that he came into contact with several exponents of the Tuscan artistic avant-garde, including Galileo Chini and Oscar Ghiglia.

Hartwig Kopp-Delaney is a German mystical digital artist and photographer that expresses duality and transduality - oneness - love and hate - the split and separated mind trough art. He tries to show a possible way out of the inner conflict and stress.

Chie Yoshii | Surrealist /Visionary painter
Japanese by birth, Chie Yoshii moved to the US, where she completed BFA at Massachusetts College of Art in 2000 and studied with Adrian Gottlieb from 2002-2008.
Much of her work is inspired by the analogy between mythological tales and the human psychology.
She currently lives and works in Los Angeles.

He was born in the hometown of Albrecht Durer (Nurnberg, Germany) on the birthday of his heroes, Winslow Homer, Charles Le Brun and Franz Von Stuck, and felt a calling from early childhood to become a painter.
Stephen and his two sisters were raised in Newburgh, Indiana by a single mother who worked full-time at a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.
His aunt Marilyn gave him oil painting lessons at twelve, and his mother bought him books on figure drawing and supplies when she found them.

Luigi Loir | Paris of Belle Époque
Luigi Aloys-François-Joseph Loir, dit Luigi Loir was born December 22, 1845 in Goritz, Austria and he died February 9, 1916 in Paris.
Luigi’s parents were of French origins, but his family lived in Austria as employees of the French royal family, the Bourbons - his father was a valet while his mother was a governess.
In his catalogue raisonnée on Luigi Loir, Noé Willer explains how "since the French Revolution, Gorritz (which was known as ‘the Austrian Nice’) was a refuge for royalists and particularly the Bourbon branch of the family".
The earliest years of Luigi’s life, then, were spent in the Gorritz castle, but shortly after his birth, the Loir family relocated, along with the Bourbon family, to the Duchy of Parma, around 1847.

Georgi Petrov was born in Dobrich, Bulgaria. He lives and works in the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia. An interest in art has started since 1993.
During the years, he was working mostly contemporary landscapes and still-life. He follows the examples of impressionism, expressionism, fauvism and abstract expressionism.
He is a self-taught artist. During his very early artistic period he studied techniques as visiting the ateliers of several well established Bulgarian artists.
Georgi Petrov believes in changing the way one sees the landscape by using the power and vitality of colour and movement.

Роман Ляпин born in Leningrad, Russia, is one of the brightest representatives of modern Italian art, whose works are in private collections in Spain, Germany, Italy, Taiwan, America, France, Canada and Japan.
Lyapin began his career in Leningrad, after which he moved to Italy and more than a decade taught at the local Accademia di Belle Art di Roma.

Angelo Asti was an Italian painter, born in Milano in 1847 and died, relatively young in 1903, in Gorbio, Mentone - Italy.
Asti is known for his beautiful woman painted onto silks with Italian undertones.
Asti has also been deemed by some as an originator of the “Pin-up Girls”.
Asti immigrated to the United States in his thirties, where he first discovered his aptitude for illustration while working at a lithographic production facility in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Spanish-born artist David Agenjo is a self-taught artist living and working in London. After a brief career as a graphic designer, he now devotes himself entirely to painting. He has been exhibited in New York, London, Dublin and Madrid.
Unlike a lot of his contemporaries, he did not formally study fine art and has not become embroiled in an obsession with a conceptual avant-garde. Instead he is self-taught and self-supporting with his painting, a way of life he has been developing professionally for over eight years now.

William Henry Barribal | Vintage Art Déco painter
William Henry Barribal (1874-1952) was a London artist who began his career as a lithographer before going on to study at the Académie Julian in Paris.
By the turn of the 20th century, Barribal had become an accomplished painter and designer. He created a series of images that were used on First World War recruitment posters in Great Britain.
During the 1920s and 1930s he created a range of posters for the Schweppes advertising campaign and in 1921 he was contracted to work for Waddingtons, producing work that was used for posters and later a series of playing cards, these works being keenly sought after today.
His bold Art Déco posters designed in 1920s and 1930s for the London and North Eastern Railway are also well known.

Chinese-born Canadian painter Xiao Song Jiang (姜小松) was born in 1955, in Wuhan, China. In 1978 he studied fine arts at the China Academy of Art, formerly the Zhejiang Art Academy, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 1982, then began lecturing watercolor at the City of Wuhan Construction College. Four years after, Song was selected to further develop his skill at the provincial Hubei Art Academy. During his time there, he accumulated years of experience, painting, sketching, and working for a refined grasp of color and technique.
