David Bowers, born 1956 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and graduated from art school in Pittsburgh in 1979. He began working as a staff artist at various studios in Pittsburgh. Two years later, David began teaching at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where he lectured for ten years. This job was perfect for Bowers at the time due to the short hours in the classroom. Born in Canada, Victor moved to Israel at the age of five. His inclination for the arts was apparent from a very early age. The well known Israeli painter, Giladi, lived on the same street and would often set up his easel outdoors to paint. Victor would watch, spellbound, on his way to and from school as Giladi created wonderful images on the blank canvas. Eventually, the artist presented Victor with his own box of oil paints and took the time to guide him into a world where expressions come through images and color, handing the child a gift that would soon become a passion.

According to Yerka, he was pressured by his university instructors to eschew detail and realism in favor of the fashion of the times - but did not relent, adhering to the meticulous classic Flemish technique that still typifies his work. In time they came to see him as a brilliant - though troubled - talent. Yerka graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, specializing in printmaking. As a youngster, his first impressions of life swelled in him as he absorbed the spirit of the people, their happiness and joy, the depth of their traditions, and the pride of their heritage. These impressions continue to spring forth from him and are continually translated onto his canvas. Boyadjian studied fine art at several schools, including the prestigious University of Fine Arts and Theater. It was there that he mastered the art of painting and produced works that have been kept to this day by the school as examples of excellence for student reference. Boyadjian's diplomate work, entitled "Circus", received widespread critical acclaim, and the work was subsequently exhibited in Moscow, Leningrad, Kiev and other major Russian cities.

After college, Tristan quickly established his career as an illustrator, and in 1994 he joined the staff at SVA, where he teaches illustration and painting.
