Georgian painter Vakhtang Kakulia [Вахтанг Какулия] was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. From 1985-1989 he studied at The School of Art in Tbilisi. In 1991 he entered the Tbilisi State Academy of Art and studied art design, interior and exterior design, monumental art and sculpture. He graduated in 1997. Laurent Parcelier, 1962 | Impressionist painter

French painter Laurent Parcelier interested in art from an early age, Parcelier attended the Applied Arts School in Dordogne.
His obvious talent soon materialized into the publication of several of his albums called “Le Drole de monde” (“Strange World”).

Paul Cornoyer | Impressionist Painter

American painter Paul Cornoyer [1864-1923] was born in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1889 he went to Paris to study at the Académie Julian under Jules Lefebvre, Benjamin Constant and Louis Blanc. He is best known for his New York City street scenes. These are meticulously observed. His color scheme deliberately limited to the context of each painting.
His work is scattered throughout the country in Art Museums in Brooklyn, Dallas, Kansas City, Newark, and St. Louis. Paul Cornoyer was a much beloved teacher. For most of his life, he taught at the Mechanics Institute in New York, and later in 1917 in East Gloucester, Massachusetts. At the time of his death in 1923 he was involved with setting up an exhibition for the local art association.

Chinese painter Eric Forlee was born in Kowing Ton, China. Eric’s paintings of African wildlife continue to express his zeal for life and independence, and he will always relish the challenge of depicting the “Symphony” he calls Africa.
From an early age, he loved art, teaching himself to draw the objects and scenes around him. Eric also was attracted to picture books about the African continent, where his father, whom he had never met, lived.
Unfortunately, at age 14, Eric was no longer permitted draw and paint: artistic activities were now reserved exclusively for the children of privileged, upper-ranking communist party members.
Additionally, the Chinese government listed Eric as an “enemy of the state”, because his parents lived in South Africa.
At age 19, Eric’s situation worsened- because his family had once owned land in China, he was condemned to a labor camp during Mao Tse-tung’s Cultural Revolution.

Hungarian photographer Noell S. Oszvald is a self-taught photographer and visual artist from Budapest. Her black and white photographs resemble mid-century fashion photography as much as it does the work of her surrealist influences.

Vietnamese-born American painter Kim Roberti immigrated to the United States in 1966 at the age of 16. Since that time she has lived in many areas of the US and other countries around the world. All the while, Kim had a love for art and longed to paint. In 1999 she gave up another career and began the path to becoming an artist.
In the years since, Kim has enjoyed much success by winning numerous awards in local shows while developing a following of collectors. La Bocca della Verità | La scultura romana del 1485

Il nome "Bocca della verità" compare nel 1485 per rimanere una delle curiosità romane, venendo frequentemente riprodotta in disegni e stampe. Risale al I secolo e la sua funzione di “smascheratore” di bugie è stata introdotta del Medioevo, si utilizzava per giudicare la colpevolezza o l’innocenza di un imputato, che dopo aver introdotto la mano, se riusciva ad estrarla era innocente, al contrario era giudicato colpevole. Tra le leggende che corrono, c’è quella più accreditata, la quale dice che, in caso di una sentenza negativa, il colpevole rischiava che la Bocca della Verità gli troncasse la mano, infatti dietro il mascherone era nascosta una terza persona che era d’accordo con il giudice.
La Bocca della Verità è un antico mascherone in marmo pavonazzetto, inizialmente situato all'esterno del portico della chiesa di Santa Maria in Cosmedin di Roma e successivamente murato nella parete del pronao con i restauri voluti da papa Urbano VIII Barberini nel 1631.
