Chiara Magni is an artist based in Italy, she's a Impressionism Finger-painting. Her paintings have been sold internationally and are shown at solo and group exhibitions worldwide, she's one of fastest growing artist of our times.
Chiara began painting as a young girl learning Oil Painting, acrylics and watercolor. She was so into colours and art from very early age the first word she ever wrote was "blue".
She began painting very early and her favourite artist has always been Claude Monet.
She took Art Class in Italy.
Magni took the Finger-paint style and specialized in it. This kind of style takes the paint right from the color tube and uses fingers to draw lines and shades applying the colour pure from the tube to the canvas, and without the use of any solvents to give a 3D and textured look to the painting.
Her paintings are mostly done with the finger-painting technique however she decided not to limit herself to a specific technique and sometimes she "uses other tools to create the exact optical effects that she intends to see on her paintings".
Magni takes her inspiration from her day to day life but mostly from Garda Lake surroundings, which she calls "a great source of inspiration".
Because of Garda Lake's variety of landscapes and views, mixed with her vivid imagination, her paintings will be found to be very colourful and, sometimes, beyond reality.
Magni's works has been displayed in some fine art galleries in Italy such as the Melograno in Livorno and La Maison d'Art in Padua where she won the "Best Year Artist award" and she sold her paintings all around the world.

"Since I was a child I have always had a strong interest in color and creativity. No one pushed me or suggested me to follow this path, I just found myself in it and for me, it was the easiest and most natural thing to do".
"For many years I have tried my hand at painting, always preferring oil painting, and I have always wondered what my path was, what my distinctive style could be.
"I’ve always wondered what painting style I belonged to, but I’ve never found the right one for me".
"I have identified with impressionism, which I still do today; but I have never felt that I belong to it 100%, there are some things I do, how I choose the subjects, how I choose the colors that are not part of that style ... while remaining one of my absolute favorite, I felt it didn't define me altogether".
"After having created and sold a few hundred paintings, I finally understood that I had to venture to create a new current myself".
And so I coined the term "Bright Expressionism!"
"Bright Expressionism" refers not only to very strong colors (bright) but also to the joy and vivacity that the paintings want to convey".
"The pictorial choices are completely imaginary and are completely dictated by the emotions that the painter wants to evoke in the observer".
"The chromatic choices are instead all connected to each other and completely respect the strict and important rules of the color wheel, but do not respect the rules of reality"!

Chiara Magni è un artista Italiana specializzata in Finger painting.
La tecnica del finger painting è molto recente e poco diffusa, questa tecnica non prevede ne l’uso di pennelli nè di spatole ma come unico strumento vengono usate le dita.
Lo stile di Chiara è impressionismo moderno caratterizzato da colori molto accesi e da un particolare interesse per la natura e per la figura femminile.
A causa della varietà di paesaggi e vedute del Lago di Garda, mescolata alla sua vivida immaginazione, i suoi dipinti saranno molto colorati e, a volte, oltre la realtà.
Le opere di Magni sono state esposte in alcune gallerie d'arte in Italia come il Melograno di Livorno e La Maison d'Art di Padova dove ha vinto il "Best Year Artist award" e ha venduto i suoi quadri in tutto il mondo.

"Fin da piccola ho sempre avuto un forte interesse per il colore e la creatività. Nessuno mi ha spinto o suggerito a seguire questa strada, mi sono trovata dentro e per me è stata la cosa più semplice e naturale da fare".
"Per molti anni ho provato a dipingere, prediligendo sempre la pittura ad olio, e mi sono sempre chiesto quale fosse la mia strada, quale potesse essere il mio stile distintivo".
"Mi sono sempre chiesto a quale stile di pittura appartenessi, ma non ho mai trovato quello giusto per me".
"Mi sono identificato con l'impressionismo, cosa che faccio ancora oggi; ma non ho mai sentito di appartenerne al 100%, ci sono alcune cose che faccio, come scelgo i soggetti, come scelgo i colori che non fanno parte di quello stile ... pur rimanendo uno dei miei preferiti in assoluto, io sentivo che non mi definiva del tutto".
"Dopo aver creato e venduto alcune centinaia di quadri, ho finalmente capito che dovevo avventurarmi e creare io stessa una nuova corrente, un punto d'incontro tra impressionismo e l'espressionismo".
"Ho coniato il termine artistico "Espressionismo Luminoso"!
"L'"Espressionismo luminoso" si riferisce non solo ai colori molto forti (luminosi) ma anche alla gioia ed alla vivacità che i dipinti vogliono trasmettere".
