Robert Krogle, American painter, was born in Santa Monica, California. After high school Robert applied to Chouinard Art Institute of Los Angeles and was accepted but after two years was called to duty by the California Army National Guard. He spent five and a half months in Vietnam and was awarded the bronze star and purple heart for his service. Upon returning to civilian life, Robert completed his last two years of art education in 1970.

Agostino Arrivabene, a very talented Italian painter, is a painter of decadence, dream and ancient symbologies who uses his own homemade pigments and colors and tries to revive ancient pictorial techniques. Arrivabene was born in Rivolta d’Adda, in the province of Cremona, Italy in 1967. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in 1991. He then travelled to various Italian and international cities seeking out the work of the Old Masters, deepening his knowledge of his craft, and bringing to bear a great influence upon the future development of his own artwork.
British sculptor Derek Kinzett spent his childhood living in Dodington Park, Gloucestershire - England, a breathtaking estate designed and laid out by Capability Brown in 1764. Derek moved with his family to Wiltshire in 1977, and completed his studies in Art and Design at Wiltshire College in 1984. Giotto di Bondone, better known simply as Giotto, was an Italian painter and architect from Florence in the late Middle Ages. He is generally considered the first in a line of great artists who contributed to the Italian Renaissance. Giotto's contemporary Giovanni Villani wrote that Giotto was "the most sovereign master of painting in his time, who drew all his figures and their postures according to nature. And he was given a salary by the Comune of Florence in virtue of his talent and excellence".

Born in Hull, England, Tim Thompson, British painter, spent his childhood from the age of five in the Channel Islands, where his interest in the sea and sailing first developed. He now lives in Saltash, Cornwall in the UK, with his wife Sharon and his daughters Holly and Gemma.
Tim began his painting career when he was 27 and established his reputation with nautical paintings of subjects from the ships of Drake's era, through to modern racing yachts. He is renowned for his meticulous attention to detail and his ability to create dramatic and atmospheric images.
Anna Lea Merritt [1844-1930] American painter, was born in Philadelphia, the daughter of Joseph Lea a manufacturer. She studied art in Italy, Germany and Paris, ultimately settling England in the late 1860s. She married Henry Merrit, artist, and critic, who was twenty two years her senior. Tragically he died three months after the wedding. Anna Merritt edited a selection of her husband’s writings for publication. She built up a thriving practice as a portrait painter, in which artistic sphere she was highly talented, her picture of two little sisters, Jacqueline and Isura Loraine, for example is highly accomplished. In later years she often wintered in Egypt. She lived in Hampshire.

Si è spento il 28 febbraio 2013 a Roma, a 95 anni, il maestro Armando Trovajoli, pianista, compositore e direttore d'orchestra italiano, autore di brani celebri come "Roma nun fa la stupida stasera" e delle colonne sonore di oltre 300 film. Nella sua lunghissima carriera di musicista ha suonato con i più qualificati jazzisti del mondo da Duke Ellington a Louis Armstrong e poi Miles Davis, Chet Baker, Stephan Grappelli, Django Reinhardt. Poi, accanto al jazz, si è dedicato al cinema e alla commedia musicale grazie alla lunga collaborazione con Garinei e Giovannini. Tra le sue canzoni più celebri anche “Aggiungi un posto a tavola”.

Renata Domagalska, Polish painter, known for working in the Expressive Figurative style, come from Poland, presently live in Spain. Predominant motif of my art is the human. I'm fascinated by dynamic and motion of life that`s why they are a motor of my art creation: flamenco dance, tango, folklore, nude, the atmosphere of sunny southern countries, small towns with their little streets teeming with life, fragments of nature.
Harry Anderson [1906-1996] was an American illustrator and a member of the Illustrator's Hall of Fame. A devout Seventh-day Adventist artist, he is best known for Christian themed illustrations he painted for the Adventist church and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was also a popular illustrator of short stories in American weekly magazines during the 1930s and early 1940s. Anderson was featured in American Artist in 1956; he received awards from the New York Art Directors club and other notable organizations, and was inducted into the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame in 1994.

Alan Fearnley, British painter, is known for his superb paintings of motor racing and Formula One around the world. Fearnley was born in Yorkshire, and studied at Batley College of Art. His early works established Alan as an artist of unique talent and quality. Over the past 30 or so years Alan had built up a wealth of subject matter, starting with landscapes and moving later into his well known transport and motor racing paintings, the work that started to flow reflected not only his special skills, but also his love and passion for both motoring and motor sport.
